Like thousands of other Londoners my age, I’m trying to get on the housing ladder—but it’s not easy. House prices are out of control, and what’s even more demoralising is that all the new builds seem to be unaffordable luxury apartments.
So, this Christmas, myself and girlfriend decided to make one... out of gingerbread.
The project went viral, racking up over a million views and becoming the highest-trending post on Reddit over Christmas. I even created a landing page for a fake housing developer, where people could download the plans and build their own.
